Why it's unique
The Phra Singh image and the murals in Viharn Lai Kham are the reason to come, and the grounds are the most complete surviving temple compound inside the walls.
Before you go
Free to walk the grounds; Viharn Luang costs 40 baht. Daily 6am to 5pm, and it is at its best in the first hour when the monks are still chanting.
