This is the newest of the new Ninh Binh destinations and is being opened up as a spring-outing site, which means it is currently quiet and will not stay that way. Go on a weekday morning, when the valley lake is still. Access and pricing were still being formalised at the time of research, so check before travelling. Pair it with Bai Dinh rather than with Trang An: it is the historical prelude that makes the ancient capital legible.
