Why it's unique
Beer bathing is a genuine Central European spa tradition with centuries behind it and still rare in North America. This brought it over more or less intact.
The hops and barley in the water are doing something rather than being a gimmick — the practice exists because of what they do to skin — and being named to TIME's World's Greatest Places suggests it survived the translation.
Before you go
Book well ahead; there are only a handful of suites and they go.
It is a spa treatment rather than a novelty photograph, so allow the full session. You will smell faintly of hops afterwards, which no one mentions in advance.
