Walk through Meow Wolf's Convergence Station
Four storeys of another world
Four storeys of walk-through installation built as a single interconnected fictional world, with hidden passages, interactive objects, and a story assembled from a hundred-odd artists' work.
Why it's unique
Every installation the company builds is entirely different artwork by different artists. This is not a format repeated between cities the way a theme park repeats rides — the Denver building shares a company with the others and essentially nothing else.
What you get is a permanent large-scale collaborative artwork you walk through rather than look at, and there is no second version of this one anywhere.
Before you go
Allow three hours. People consistently budget one and leave having seen a fraction.
The narrative is optional and largely hidden — you can wander and enjoy it, or follow the threads and find there is a great deal more structure than it first appears. Timed entry, so book.
