Why it's unique
It is the largest single brewing site on Earth by volume. Not the largest company — the largest one place.
That distinction is what makes the tour worth taking. The scale is genuinely difficult to picture until you are standing in it, and no craft brewery visit, however good, gives you anything like the same experience of industrial process at capacity.
Before you go
Expect an industrial tour, not a craft brewery visit. People arrive anticipating the second and are briefly disappointed before realising the first is more interesting.
The site is in Golden rather than Denver proper, which makes it a half-day with the drive.
